Oh Oberlin: Francine Toss

If you attended Eastwood Elementary School in Oberlin any time during the last 40 years, you remember Francine Toss, whether as a teacher, lead teacher or principal. Today she runs the library (minus the card catalog, and plus a few computers.)

We spent nearly an hour this week recounting her own childhood growing up in Cleveland and how she knew from a very early age that she wanted to get into teaching and the roundabout route she took to get to Oberlin to do it. My only regret: not spending more time with her.

Next week it will be Leo and Wendy Boes of the Blue Rooster Bakehouse.

I’m in the middle of fundraising for the podcast and would welcome your feedback, sharing of the following link, and your support. Thanks for listening. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1329741683/oh-oberlin-2015
