I grew up knowing Robert Piron (but don’t call him that) as a friend of the Comings family, but never knew until this week how that came to be. Piron, now retired from Oberlin College where he taught economics,  joined with fellow retired OC professor Luis Hernandez to talk Sunday about their development and the community’s support of their business, CleanAlert.

The company was recognized in the current edition of the magazine Popular Science for its innovation.
