Oh Oberlin: Kurt Russell

Twenty-four years after graduating from Oberlin City Schools, Kurt Russell has 20 years into teaching history in the district. A basketball coach and active member of Mt. Zion church, Kurt shares his memories of his neighborhood growing up and what made Oberlin an easy and important choice as a place to which to return.

We spent an hour talking in his backyard a few doors down from Presti’s with the idea that it won’t be another 24 years before we do it again.
