Walking around town for the citywide garage sale today and took this shot of work being done on Groveland Street.

Oberlin works a great balance between building sidewalks and giving those sidewalks a purpose. I’ve seen more than one city that seems to use sidewalks as decoration while otherwise assuming cars will deliver people to where they want to go. How can Oberlin capitalize on this?

The rebuilding to come on Main Street at the Oberlin Inn could go a long way.
