The city of Oberlin is advertising for a social media intern.
The job description reads: “The Social Media/App Coordinator Intern assists the Economic Development & Housing Officer, the City Manager and various department heads in promoting the City to visitors and residents (including Oberlin College students) and communicating with residents about City programs, operations and services. The Intern researches City operations and services, attends community events, visits City facilities to gain knowledge and information to share via social media and provides additional support as needed or assigned.”
I’ve tweeted Oberlin City Manager @enorenb to ask questions in the past. I can see advantage in the city’s exploration of this. Do you?
